What this means for Donyell
Two of the most important finds in the case, the Grand Am and Randall’s body, were in Marion County. Neither the South Pittsburg recovery report nor any Marion County recovery report has been produced.
South Pittsburg Police
- June 3, 2020: recovered the Grand Am listed to Randall Leslie, “column punch out,” case 247492, towed to Precision Towing.
- The car then sat at the private lot 120 days with no seal or hold record before Item 177 was logged.
Marion County
- June 21, 2020: Randall’s body found near Highway 41, Jasper. The autopsy names no finder.
- No sheriff’s recovery report, scene log or photographs have been produced.
