What this means for Donyell
The State says Randall’s body was brought to the 6305 Stockton Drive driveway. Police filmed that driveway, walked through it, towed a car off it, and collected nothing from it.
What the State said about Stockton
- The detective’s affidavit: Randall “was shot inside 4088 Teakwood Drive and transported to 6305 Stockton Drive.”
- In Brittany Lanham’s recorded 2021 interview Stockton is never mentioned. By trial it was part of her story.
What police did there
- June 9, 2020, 5:59 AM: the crime-scene unit arrived. The instruction was to collect “cellphones, weapons, ammunition and anything that violated TCA.” The warrant also listed DNA and trace evidence.
- The State’s own video 00007 shows the driveway stained and the camera operator walking through it. On the same video officers discuss what is in a bag before lawful entry.
- A black Mercedes on the driveway was towed at 8:25 AM. Nothing from the ground under or behind it is recorded as collected.
- Guns collected inside include the red SCCY, a Smith & Wesson .40 whose ballistics-database entry says “Found 5013 Jarred Rd” eleven days before this search, a Canik and a Taurus. None went to the state lab until October 2022.
