What this means for Donyell
Randall was found in Marion County, not in Hamilton County where the State says he was killed. No Marion County recovery report, scene log or photographs have been produced, and nobody is named as the person who found him.
June 21, 2020
- Randall Leslie’s body was found near Highway 41 in Jasper, Marion County. The county medical examiner pronounced him at 3:50 PM.

- Where Randall was found compared with his car: Randall’s Grand Am had turned up in the same county 18 days earlier, June 3, 2020, recovered by South Pittsburg police (case 247492, never produced).
- He was identified by a forensic odontologist (dental records).

- The autopsy reached the homicide unit on December 27, 2021, 18 months after it was done and nine months after Donyell was indicted.
